Hi Cindy

You'll need Mexican/Mexico auto insurance - purchased separately from your current insurance - typically at/near most any border town. I believe that is all.

Check the CDC website on importation of pets - am pretty sure rabies shots are required - uncertain about the specifics and if any special requirements for Mexico. Also each state may have different requirements.

p.s.
Don't forget your passport as it is now required at border crossings.
