I've been touched but no approval yet.
waiting4ever
I got approved about 10 days ago.
greeneclipse
singh77... could you please add yourself to the timeline in the main thread?
Jasmin
To the ones who've already gotten approved: Did you get any touches before the approval?
Mononoke28
Well, I now know I got touched twice only to get the NOA1 that I should've gotten over 2 months ago. Why not approve the stupid I-130 already and get it over with?!!! Augh!
Ailema
Started the filing process in May and I think it should be approved by next week.. (just had interview today).

Mononoke28
She's talking about her visa being approved while we're talking about our petitions being approved. We are WAY behind!!! laughing.gif
Erica
"To the ones who've already gotten approved: Did you get any touches before the approval?"

We got one, sort of ... the USCIS changed the 'last update' date on the day we were approved, but that was it.
greeneclipse
bumpity bump....

any good news this week for feb. (or even march) filers ?

I’m probably hated here already for mostly just reading statistics, but that's a useful tool for me to look at the world, so here goes once again smile.gif.

For IR-1/CR-1 filers, filing after first of February 2007, the following applies:

CSC:
2 out of 28 approved (7%)

NSC (all most likely sent to CSC):
1 out of 6 approved (17%)

TSC (all most likely sent to CSC):
2 out of 8 approved (25%)

VSC:
1 out of 9 approved (11%)

Total:
6 out of 51 approved (12 %)

Furthermore out of those six, three have sent an I-129 also, and have to cancel the K3-visa which adds a few more months to the process (but at least they've got their I-130 approved).

These statistics are picked up from the database of this page, and manipulated to give a usable result. So it seems that there's a bit of a wait still ahead for us all sad.gif. For those who filed within February 2007 the approval rate is 18% (for January 2007 it's 30% and for March 2007 it's 10%) so we’re getting there though good.gif.
Jasmin
@Tim: Congrats!! You have the same NOA1 as me. Come on now, approval! Did you get any touches before?

@Monoke: Well, that excites me quite a bit wink.gif Let's hope it's true!

You're still waiting??? And we have pretty similar timelines!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too. good.gif
Geist
With how the service centers have been jiggling things around right now, I'm not even going to think that we might get an approval until June ...especially since I'm at VSC whistling.gif
But hey, I hope other people do smile.gif Then the numbers look better!

Yes I am still waiting! I thought I would at least hear something this week because we really do have similar timelines! Nothing in the mail except junk and bills. I called USCIS just to see what would be said. She told me to call back if I didn't hear anything by August 14! sad.gif

Thank you for keeping your fingers crossed! Maybe next week I'll hear something? That would be nice. yes.gif

My fiance and I were approved on May 16th, 2007!!! Wow...were we happy! Filed it on Feb 21st, 2007. 86 days! Csc[/center Now we are hoping she can be here in 1 to 2 months. The most beautiful woman in the world and her 3 kids....I have 3 kids too....is coming to the USA to be with me forever! This is an amazing feeling.

My Fiance, is always telling me..."My love, we must enjoy these days apart, because someday we will look back on them with memories of the anticipation of being together forever" She is right, it is kinda like waiting for Christmas when you are 6 years old. I never thought I could have those feelings again....It is wonderful!

Good Luck to all!!

That's great, but you've filed for a K-1 visa. This is the forum for CR-1/IR-1 visa. Wrong forum!

We are still waiting too. I'm thinking something may be up, just not sure exactly what. We got two touches too and I thought FOR SURE an approval was coming, but just like you guys, now there is absolutely nothing. unsure.gif

Yeah, we got two touches too this month from CSC. Prior to that we got like two from VSC, which indicated a transfer to CSC. I also wonder why CSC decided to touch us twice this month. Likely once when they got us, but I have no idea why they made a second touch...

The good thing about this, is that CSC processing time averages are 109 days currently, which would mean that we would get approved in approx 20 days and you guys probably a bit sooner good.gif.

I've got the same touch pattern as you. We are pretty close in our filing dates/location. I am hoping you are right about the average (assuming no additional overhead from the transfer).

I applied to the Los Angeles office and received the NOA 1 for our girls on March 1, 2007 and my wife's NOA 1 was on March 5, 2007. We are applying to the Embassy at Manila. Still no touches but I previoulsy filed a I-130 in 2002 so I am feeling our case may be flagged. Peace and God Bless, BMB!

I had a feeling something was up.... unsure.gif I thought I was the only one. I also received my first two touches over two days.

Anyone here try the RFE trick that the k-1r's are doing?

Seems that the CSC hasn't been sending RFE or approval emails or letters as they should be.
Geist
Just got an email from CRIS saying our application is now pending at the office it was transferred to (CSC).

I've heard of this "RFE trick" but not sure on exactly how to do it. Anyone know and should it be tried? It's getting close to being 100 days since NOA1. I already called USCIS and spoke with some rep. She told me if I didn't hear anything by August 15, call back! blink.gif

Looks like CSC is a little too disorganized, huh? I would like to know if there is an RFE or even an approval out there somewhere!

I cannot answer exactly how to do it because I too am wondering exactly how this "trick" is done, but I remember skimming through some posts and some people say that you call up the USCIS number and go through the "RFE" thing where you punch in the numbers it tells you to...I guess maybe you pretend that you got an RFE and then when you finally get to speak to someone, maybe you feel them out about an RFE.

Someone please correct me on this because I don't believe this is how the exact "trick" goes. Thanks!
