When it says what documents that you must bring along with you to the embassy interview, am I correct in thinking that it is only referring to my hubby (the beneficiary) in India and not to mine as well when it asks for birth certificate and prior divorce termination documents?

You will need both of your divorce documents for the interview.

Yes, Raymaga is right. You will need both of your divorce documents, either the original or the certified copies.

The applicant does not need the petitioner's birth certificate during the interview. But for your peace of mind, you can keep it during the interview.

I thought that the originals are sent to the NVC and given back at the interview
