Another one of those annoying commercials - this one claims Weetabix is the number one cereal in the UK - is this true? (Just curious)
Dawny&Tommy
Weetabix...bleh!

Dawn.
Amby
Make it a weetabix week.

I Love Weetabix, I just bought some online as I haven't found it here in the US. I wouldn't think it was Britains most popular cereal though. Cornflakes and Rice Krispies are way more popular.

Is it popular? Yes. Is it tasty? No...it's exactly what I would expect compressed sawdust to taste like. jest.gif

LOVE wheatabix. Specially when it gets soggy, lol

Hate hate hate Weetabix. Ick.

Note the vote above is not whether you like Weetabix, but whether its popular in the UK.

So the people who voted "no" are idiots! smile.gif

Well, I voted "yes", because Weetabix IS popular, the "hate hat hate" comment was my own personal opinion of the bloody awful stuff.

Its pretty common in the US, I'd say, at least the "Organic" Canadian version (which is basically the same).

PS In answer to the OP, yes Weetabix is the most popular cereal in the UK.

I've not had Weetabix since I was a kid and threw up over my favourite nightie... it put me off it for life!

Any Londoners remember going through the Blackwall Tunnel and the smell is like Weetabix? It's actually an abattoir in the area and the smell is dog biscuits being made!

I like those apricot wheats from Sainsbury's, with the apricot goo inside. Mmmm, apricot goo.
