Will be filing USC spouse petition, I-130/I-485 from boston, MA to chicago lockbox.
I am told the petition will go to the National benefits center .

Where can I find the processing times for USC spouse I-130/I-485 petitions that go to national benefits center?

This National benefits center processing times page;

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/NBCprocesstimes.jsp?

does not show and I-130s/ I-485s.

Your I-130 and AOS will be delt with by your local office.... so check Boston for the processing time.... the NBC do the paperwork and checks and then the case is sent to your local office for interview....

Good Luck

Thanks very much Niagaenola.
I checked boston and it says oct 14, 06 for I-485.
Is that the one?

Which means about 6 and a half months is the current processing time.
I noticed your office was boston too and you got your approval in 6 months too.

Could it be sooner or longer than that?
I have been told background checks could stretch it to years in some cases.
Is that right?

It may be sooner.... if you get stuck in FBI Name check it can be a long time before you get approval.... there is no way to tell if your namecheck has cleared until you go for interview...

Good Luck
