Hi everyone!
My hubby is currently on a deployment...
We are waiting for the AOS bill to arrive...
My mother-in-law will take care of everything...
My question is, if the bill arrives, is it ok if my mother-in-law signs the money order? Or is it necessary or is it "a must" that the petitioner signs the money order? We have also acquired a power of attorney. Do u think it will help?
pls help!
tnx!

Anybody can sign the money order or even send in a personal check---just make SURE you put the names of the petitioner and beneficary on the money order/check.

IIRC, the instruction says to write the case number on the front of the check, not names of the petitioner and/or beneficiary.
