THANK YOU! I was a nervous wreck last night...and it turns out the interview was so easy I shouldn't have been. (Probably the easiest thing of this whole process, haha.)
We have to drive 4 hrs to Miami to get his passport renewed though before we can visit! AND to renew his passport he needs his DNI (documento nacional de identidad) which he never got - turned 18 about 6 months before he came to the US and I guess just like I wasn't speedy with changing my name with the SSA, he never got around to it - I THINK from reading the consulate's site they can do it there (and it's only 7 dollars for that then 35.00 for the passport) but man...what a hassle

At least he can use his passport now to travel
