Hi all,
I live in Northern Ireland. I'm currently waiting for packet 4 to come from the London Embassy. In the last weeks I received a letter through from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) which, in reference to a "CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK FOR KEITH ANDREW ADAMS", says the following:
"In reply to your application to obtain information, which may be held about the above named by the Police in Northern Ireland relating to prosecution/conviction history, I wish to inform you that from the personal details supplied, there is NO information held in the prosecution/conviction History category."
This document does not constitute a certificate of good character
If you have complted Section 3 of the Application Form (request for information relating to prosecution/conviction history on the Police National Computer) this has been forwarded to new Scotland Yard who will reply direct to you.
Now, my question is - am I now supposed to be waiting for another document from New Scotland Yard to arrive? Or is this the final thing? Is this the document I can take with me to the interview in London? I'm concerned about the underlined statement which states that the letter does not constitute good character. Are there any scans of what the final letter should look like?
Keith
