Our case has just been approved and I have been reading through the shortcuts for NVC I have one problem. My husband (petitioner) sold his business in december 06 and has not worked since because he came to the UK in January as I was due to give birth February and worked over here for two months March and April and he is going back to the states now but does have a job lined up. It says we have to include 3 most recent payslips but he won't have payslips, help please helpsmilie.gif

I would start assembling as much information pre- and post- about your work situation. You will need to explain all of this in great detail.

How about assets or finding a co-sponsor ?

Based on your NOA2 of yesterday's date, it will probably be well over two months before you have to send in the I-864 -- perhaps even longer, given the recent threads regarding the extra time NVC is now taking to generate the DS-3032 and I-864 fee bill after it has assigned a case number. (Also, even though you might be able to send the I-864 in a bit earlier using the I-864/AOS fee bill shortcut, that does not really save you time in the overall process because it won't speed up the separate IV bill/IV application track.)

So assuming you won't have to send in your I-864 until early July or so, and your husband is returning to the U.S. now and has a job lined up, won't he have received three paychecks by then (assuming he is paid bi-monthly)?

Yes, I did.
I also used my assets, my spouse's assets and had a Joint Sponsor as a back up.
