About the passport photos:

Packet 3 says they are supposed to all be the same. How are they supposed to be the same if Montreal wants 2 by 2 and the medical office I contacted wants 1.5 by 1.5?! And even if they are different sizes, should I get them all at the same time but just different sizes so they are identical (except the size)?

AND...

Am I supposed to attach the photos to the forms or not? Someone recently said no but the form says to staple or glue the photos to it...

No, get US passport sizes for all: 2" x 2". The medical office can scale down if they want to.

Yep I agree.. People were always cutting down my pictures (I remember the consulate cutting down my pictures too to fit in tiny windows on the forms). Not a problem.

Whoever wants smaller ones can cut them. I didn't paste or glue or staple ANY pictures anywhere. Again, if Consulate staff want that done, they can do it themselves. Better than ripping it off because you weren't supposed to!! blush.gif

I'll probably get a letter back because I used the regular passport photos. When I sent my documents to the consulate I sent the photos in a photo holder so they could do with them as they pleased. According to what you read here some have sent them and others have brought them to the interview.

I sent mine stapled for that very reason you refer too. It says in the box bottom right hand corner page 1 "Glue or attach photo"
So I did just that sent the packet 3 back then emailed Montreal ionquiring since my photos were attached to the 2 forms would I be required to bring 2 pics for my interview They told me no as the passport pics were on the forms I returned.

I will still be taking 2 passport photos with me though for the simple fact I just don't trust Montreal about anything they or USCIS has told us throughout this entire process. Seems staff have different versions on things

What's irritating is that Montreal put in the paperwork for package 3 that you will require 5 passport style photos ... three would be required for the medical and 2 for your interview with the specifications of 2x2 and the eye level being 28mm to 35mm from the bottom of the picture.

I went in and had them done ... 3 sets for me and 3 sets for my son costing $68 and change at Shoppers stressing the whole while because regular passport pics are 50mm x 70 mm not 50mm x 50 mm ... I measured and cut them myself while I was at Shoppers.

When I went to my medical this morning she told me that she only needed one for each of us and she took scissors and cut them by hand .. no measurements and glued them to the paperwork.

Hope that's helpful.
