IN MY LAST POST I MADE MISTAKE BT NOW I CORRECT IT, THANKS FOR INFORMED ME
Is there anybody who been waiting for I-130 approval since sep 2006, I am pakistani national studying in UK and my wife she is USC, last year in july we went to pakistan to get married and then i came back to UK my wife she did file I130 and I129F bt we r still waiting for approval, can anybody tell me how long it will take and do i have to go to pakistan to get my I130 or I129f visa????? thankssssssssssss for ur help

The K3 visa would be issued at the US embassy in the country where you got married, so in your case, your K3 interview would be in Pakistan.
The CR1 visa, I believe but am not sure, is issued in the nation where you are a resident. So, are you legally a resident of Pakistan or the UK? If you are legally a resident of the UK, then *maybe* your CR1 interview would be in London. If you are a resident of Pakistan, then you CR1 interview would also be in Pakistan.

Your wife can enlist the aid of an attorney or a federal elected representative to try to find the nature of the holdup, but no one can tell you how long it will take to clear the issue until it does clear.
You haven't been waiting long enough on the I-129f for that to be of concern yet - give it a few months.

I am from Pakistan also and i got my visa lat week ,i think u have to go back to pakistan to be interviewed .i a not sure butthe good thing i will suggest for u to ask ur wie to call ur local USCIS office or book an appointment through INFO pass on their web site www.uscis.gov and talk to there representative.And they are the best person to answer ur quesion.
