Hi,
i am looking for someone to share their K3 experiences at the Moscow consulate.....

russ
Всё будет хорохо!

Don't worry, everything will be fine. Triple check the paperwork (the only thing you can control). The worst case I have heard here in 2+ years is a delay of less than 2 weeks.

We are getting ready to leave for Moscow soon as well. Galina's green card came in the mainl today. I just need my visa, and then we are on our way for the whole summer.

While you are there- There is a Georgian restaurant called the Arbat (at the beginning of old arbat street). I both recommend it, and plan on having dinner there the day after we arrive. (My father-in-law likes it too). The Red Bar is also good (great view, it is on the 27th floor).

Good luck!

Also, the Hard Rock on Arbat is the only place to get a decent cheeseburger.

I liked the Mu-Mu (Moo-Moo) although I heard they were all burned down by the mafia. (Could be just an urban legend... don't know.) If you miss home too much though, the biggest McDonald's I've ever seen is located at the Pushkinskaya Metro stop. There you can have a "Royale with cheese" and a beer. "And I'm not talking like a little cup of beer either, I'm talking like a big glass of beer."

Also, something nice to do for a cheap date.... go to the zoo. Easy to get to and cheap. A nice zoo too. Good date for a day. Gotta do Red Square, Kremlin, GUM, etc., downtown, there's another day. And one whole day just hanging out in the apartment/hotel is nice too!

Have fun. Don't sweat the interview, hubby will be just fine. If you followed the stuff here on VJ, you'll be well prepared for an approval. Good luck!!!

B2 will not matter. Good Luck! I'm just starting to pack now. It will be such a shame for us to be leaving the wonderful Florida sunshine...

Slim, don't worry Moo-Moo is still there, and they are building more smile.gif They even built one in Zelenograd, where Seryozha lives (a region of Moscow, about 1 hour from the center) We went there when I was there from May 4-9...I would also recommend it for anyone going to Moscow.

Now I know I'll be able to get a decent meal in Moscow for under $10.
