Funny thing was last night we were talking about all the questions I raise, and the debates we have and sometimes *even I'll admit it * the whining I do about American Politics and Culture, and I was saying he would have similar questions and frustrations had he moved north..

Alberta. We got petunias and lots of other assorted flowers to either plant or do some hanging baskets, some Hydrangea bushes (I'm excited about those). I'm bad- I work at the Greenhouse and haven't learned all the names yet!

Uncle Ralphy- I miss him- I really liked him. He was funny, he took a lot of crap over things he said and did, but he was always able to laugh and poke fun at himself.

I'm not sure if you knew about this- Ralph was a heavy drinker (he said he did stop, but who knows) He got really drunk one night and went to to the Bissel Center (homeless shelter) and started screaming at them to all get jobs!
