Khurram, you know that we are here for you!
This place is great, it helps us to share with people that are also going thru this awful visa process
And feel better, who else could understand such a process?

I'm glad I found it too. This process can really take it out of you and for all the days you are on the upswing of optimism or the 'i just don't care' mood, the downer of the 'why is it taking so long' can really cut right into you
so i slink off into here, read all about the fascination people have with beer, which countries have it cheeper, and who hates abbreviations and who can't remember their meanings to hate them, and I laugh and I feel better
sadly though, as i don't drink beer, i can't really say if it is a bargain here in SoCal or if its a rip off like in some city pubs in the UK

May 10 2007, 09:27 AM
My family is actually OK with my decision and they know by know the whole process (they think I sound like an expert about this matter

) but other people wonder how I can deal with a LDR (long distance relationship) and they say Oh who knows what's he's doing and blah blah blah... they cannot believe I trust a man that is on another country and that I am fine with that
I'ts such a painful process but the good part is that there is an end to it and that's where we need to look forward to

That's pure love, to trust somebody that you do not see every day is the foundation of a lifetime relationship

There is definitely a sense of victory when you get through the process and marry the person who stole your heart and just happened to live in another country.
Even though it doesn't end, with the whole AOS and removing conditions and eventual naturalization, if that's the ultimate goal, just knowing that you made it through one set of hurdles sure makes the rest seem like a walk in the park.
My beloved is actually quite a star for his patience and understanding when little things get to me - like getting back to back touches for a week then ignored for months on end, or watching people who filed for AOS after you get approved while you still sit in FBI name check limbo.
But you know what, even though there are times this sucks like sour lemons...
... I'd do it all again for him in a heartbeat

well said guys!! Everytime my hubby does something that's full of understanding and compassion and love I am like secretly STICKING it to everyone who "warned" me about the whole packing up my life and moving to the US.. tee hee.. Anyway, it's such a beautiful thing to follow you heart *and my head* and for things to work out.. Sometimes things don't go from bad to worse!

Just left the chat. Nothing much is going on really ... not in terms of getting the issue resolved ... especially since he two personalities involved are not in there.
Steve had to leave (as he is at work). Ewok's still on his way home. So it's just a bunch of members expressing their opinions.
Personally I can't express any opinion about the issue as there isn't enough information. **shrug**

I just hope that this will not result in too much Moderation being established on VJ. It has grown to what it is now because it gives members the freedom to post as long as we don't go outside the bounds of the TOS.
