Before my wife and I moved back to the States, it never occurred to us that we should get all her dental out of the way. Now, we her wisdom teeth, a root canal and a few crowns that need to be done...I don't have any insurance with my job and she's not working. Has anyone ever been in the same situation? Do we just have to just eat the cost? I tried to get private dental insurance for her, but they can't do anything for 6 months, she needs it done now.

Try contacting your local dental school.... they sometimes offer reduced price treatment...

Or if you are on a low income and you live in a big city you could try to find a sliding scale clinic which would make it more affordable. If you phone 211 there will be someone who can help you find what you need. Hope this helps smile.gif
