Jasper, I don't know who you are and you don't know me or my fiance.

I don't know why you singled me out to send me such an insulting, racist and
disgusting PM. Are you by chance soliciting for a new wife .... wait don't answer that.

Please note that I have reported you.

Mario,
If what you claim is the truth, then tell me, do you not know how to sign out of this forum when you are finished with it? Why would Omoba be singled out from an alleged ' hacker ' ? If he / she was playing with your E Mails, why was Omoba on it? She does not know you. So someone hacks into your system, leaves your bank info alone but writes Omoba a filthy comment. I'm not buying that flimsy excuse. You are full of yourself. headbonk.gif
Minya's wife
I remember seeing a couple of the OP's posts, and his impending divorce seems to his the subject of most concern to him. What strikes me as a little odd is that one of his posts is asking about procedure regarding notifying USCIS regarding an address change notification(a simple procedural matter), and barely two days later he's asking about removing conditions himself because he and his wife are divorcing. Fairly quickly after that, now he's asking about being able to remain in the US through marriage to another USC? And now a nasty PM that a "hacker" wrote? Something doesn't sound right. Don't know, but if it smacks of a troll. whistling.gif

This is a good question. To file for a divorce and not have the evidence to fulfill the requirements for USCIS, may raise some red flags to your intentions of immigrating here. They may ask - Did you get married because you were in love or that you wanted to immigrate to the US?

If you married because you were in love with your spouse, then you may need to rediscover that first love you had and strengthen your marriage. Many times a person gets married (no matter your nationality because we are all human) we discover sides of that person that are not as attractive. Then someone else comes along and we are attracted to them - thus causing us to question our marriage. A person once told me after getting married for the second time: "You just trade on challenge for another."

Good luck - I will pray for you.

IF you have a Green Card....why are you asking about remarrying another USC to stay here? blink.gif

I think there is a difference between a "green card" (GC) and a "conditional green card" CGC, the CGC is what the OP is asking about.

OP - If you came to the US for love and the love you seek wasn't found, then wouldn't the next rational thing to do is return to your own country or home? Unless you had ulterior motives.

This person has a conditional green card (cgc)

Well, there are some districts where acquisition of a conditional green card takes some time, especially in a case where the parties might not have applied to adjust status right away. In that regard, an alien could have been living and become assimilated to US culture and simply pulling up roots to return to his or her homeland might be difficult, if not impossible. If the marriage is or was legitimate, and USCIS has afforded the alien permanent residency already (as is the case with a CGC) then why should an alien feel compelled, morally, to contemplate leaving the country?

I disagree. The OP's home is now here, what if he has nothing to return to?

The question was not 'i'm getting a divorce and have fallen for someone else' the question was 'can I marry someone else to stay here?'

I believe jasper is asking if he is unable to successfully remove conditions after a divorce, could/would he be able to remain in the USA were he to marry another US citizen.

If Jasper is denied with one petition and asked to leave the country, I believe it would be an extremely long shot to marry someone else and re-apply to stay. It would rely look like you married someone to stay here in this country. Even to leave the country and reaply may raise some questions.

If your question was " can I remarry another USC", I will say you can remarry and ajust your status under the new USC. There is no law that prohibit you from getting remarried here.

If your question was "can I remary another USC after getting denied I-751", I will say you can remarry but it might not be easy to convince immigration about the regitimacy of your second marriage. It looks like you remarry to avoid deportation order from denied I-751. If you have someone you love now and talking about marriage in the future, you should remarry before applying I751 by yourself. Good luck.
