I noticed nobody mentions recieving their Affidavit of support fee or the choice of agent form DS-3032 that you should receive from NVC once the receive the approved case. I received a letter from NVC with these forms and my spouse also received the DS-3032 at her home in Juarez, MX. I sent the Affidat of support and the Fee to NVC in St Louis and my wife sent me the DS-3032 choice of agent form and I sent it overnight to NVC in NH.
The question I have is did the NVC send the the approval to the consulate right away or do they wait until they have the I-864?

i feel your pain sandip!!! it took about 3 weeks for me to get confirmation that they had indeed received and forwarded my petition. it just seems like a black hole doesn't it? they should have some sort of bar code that scans in and out of depts in the process so you can get an auto email attached to it to find out where it is, no? then they could get more done by not having us call and email all the time!!!!

I just read a post from CoL website. The poster had a NOA2 date of 4 April 2007. He just received his NVC approval on 30 April 2007 in the mail. There is hope yet. Be patient. My NOA2 was 5 April so I think my official notice will be in the mail this week.

I recieved my NOA2 for my I-130 in March and my NOA2 on my I-129 April 19th. On April 15th the NVC sent me the Affidavit of Support fee and a copy of the DS-3032 Choice of Agent form that was also sent to my wife in Juarez on the same date. I sent the fee in and my wife sent the DS-3032 form in. I called the automated system at the NVC and used the case number to access the status today. They say the received the DS-3032 but that is all. My question is does the NVC assign only one case number or is it different for the I-130 and the I-129 or are they tied to the same case number?

I have just called today and also received an email from them saying that they have not received my papers. I'm hoping that they get mine as well as all of you guyz soon

Yeah, I just got an e-mail response back from the NVC saying they do not have my documents yet. I always thought things got quicker once your NOA2 was approved. Good luck to all.

Almost one month now and still nothing...almost hard to believe. Not a single step along this journey has been easy. I swear our file has a post it note on it that says, "Don't worry about this one, they can wait!" rolleyes.gif

I have got a letter in the mail that NVC got my approved I-129F and they assigned one ISL number and they said within one week case will be forward to Islamabad, Pakistan.

I think you should get your's soon as well.

When I talked to a live person 2 weeks ago they said, "2-4wks" for them send the file to NVC. Now they say, "2-4wks but up to 90 days". Sounds like they are falling behind even more. We are at the 4 wk mark now. Actually, we are knocking on the 6 month mark for processing. Oh how I long to be a Vermont filer...

you said that you checked your status just couple of days ago and was told that they have no records of your petition and the next day you received the letter from NVC. WEIRD!!

My I-129 NOA2 was on April 19th so they should have my I-129 anytime now. I know they have my I-130 already.

I called the NVC Friday night, May 4th and the lady told me my forms just arrived at the NVC. She gave me my case number and said they should probably be forwarded to the embassy by next Friday.

NVC don't have our case yet, got our NOA2 on april 19. I am thinking of sending email already, is it ok for the beneficiary to send the email?

Yes you can.

My NOA2 date was April 12th and they just received it last Friday. I wouldn't be too concerned about it just yet and probably give them until this Friday.

Yes you can.

My NOA2 date was April 12th and they just received it last Friday. I wouldn't be too concerned about it just yet and probably give them until this Friday.

star_smile.gif Received the formal letter from the NVC that our case was forwarded to Guangzhou. The letter was dated May 2, 2007. I had done 1 - e-mail to the NVC which gave me the NVC case number and 4 phone calls. On 2 of the calls I talked to the attendant on duty. On the first they said my case was being worked and on the second they said it had been approved.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss! Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Packet 3 here we come! kicking.gif

We received a letter in the mail (on May 4th dated for April 30th) stating that NVC had assigned the case number and will be forwarding our case to Montreal within a week. According to the call center at NVC, our case "has not yet been received". So, for those of you still waiting, don't fret if your message says that it's not at NVC...it probably is, they just haven't had time to catch up with the info line.

PRAISE GOD!!!! whistling.gif rose.gif good.gif my husband called to NVC today and our case was received 5/5/07 and just sent to manila embassy today 5/11/07.... YES!!!!!

I also just found out tht NVC recieved our case after 3 looooong weeks..I hope it does not take that long to send it to INDIA smile.gif gluck everyone
