Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had the same situation as us? My husband went to his interview on Monday, 4-16-2007, in AMMAN. It was originally scheduled for November 2007 but the embassy called him in March and rescheduled for April. He handed over his paperwork and visa after the interview. They said they would call him after they reviewed his paperwork, in a couple or three weeks. Gave no indication of approval or denial at this point. Anyone have any idea as to how long this may take? What is up with the security checks? Aren't the police records enough?

Welcome to VisaJourney! After the interview in Amman, it is common to wait for the visa to be put in the passport. You said that he handed over his paperwork and visa,,,did you mean his passport? Did they keep it or tell him they will contact him to send it in?
