I just need so reassurance that all is in the correct time frame. I was notified back in February that my husband's paperwork who lives in Jamaica was sent to the embassy there in kingston, however it is going on 2 months now and we have not heard anything in regards to medical or interview. Does anyone have any thoughts on the process that can help me out, I desperatly need some insight. I can't stand this wait anymore. We got married in 2005 and I started the process 2006 it just seems it's taking too long.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Look at my time line to see how long it took to get package 4. It has all the info for the medical in that packet. I posted excatly what the medical packet states in the yardies forum. It took us almost 4 months to get an interview. Go to the top of this site and go to Embassy Info. Look for Kingston Jamaica and call every Monday and Friday. They are open 1:30pm-3:30pm central time. You will push 1 first then 3 next and one more 3. It takes forever to get threw to anyone but hang in there. Once you get someone ask if they have an interview appoitment for your husband or if they know what month it would be in. They let me know which month they said April but hey they were wrong but close. Good luck and I hope this information is helpful.

Your husband can only do the medical 2 weeks prior to the interview and no later than 10 days prior to the interview. My husband had his on April 11th and has to go back to get follow up Shots on May 22nd.

Once you receive the interview it takes up to 14 working days sometimes to recieve his visa. So hold out on buying his plane ticket and get it when he recieves the visa. Many gals bought their men tickets way to early.

Take Care and all the best,
One Luv

I saw you posted in the yardies thread. Ask all Jamaican questions there. They will be answered very quickly. All the best smile.gif!

It looks like Kingston recieved your case a month after mine so I think you may have an interview in June. whistling.gif
