Should I have both forms and all supporting documents ready for him early or should I wait for the packet first? It never hurts to download and fill out forms. Sooner or later you will need the documents required for immigration and it is a good idea to begin collecting and organizing your documents. Just a thought.

Although, for example, I would prefer waiting on the letter of my employer, my pay stubs, etc., so that they are as recent and close to the interview date as possible. As for filling out the forms, I agree with beameup.

- I-134 is used for non-immigrant visas, including the K visas, at the discretion of the consular officer.
- I-864 is used for immigrant visas and adjustment of status. It cannot be used for the K visas.
