CutienPurg
It was a bright brisk morning as I headed down Rene Levesque Blvd, bright eyed and bushy tailed I was in search of COFFEE. Eh voila I found a nice coffee shop on my way to the consulate which helped take off a bit of the edge.

I arrived at the consulate about 0735 and waited for approx 5 minutes outside the doors waiting for a guard to let me in and take my paper work. Guess who? Yes, it was that dopey looking mappy headed wanna be she male. I smirked inside thinking " I don't want to be cloned n killed so just shut up", she asked for my letter and passport and asked me to empty all my possessions into the tray. Which I did with a smile but then I made the fatal error of removing my coat and setting it on the belt to the x ray machine. I was promptly scolded with " do you want to do my job? " I'm thinking wtf they weren't kidding you really are an idiot but smiled and did what I was told to do.

After passing security I was directed downstairs and was told to wait and would be escorted upstairs which took all of 5 minutes. There were several people already waiting but I was the only one taken. I thought damn it is good to be the king. So on arrival to the 19th floor I was directed to wicket 9 where a very nice man took all my paper work and told me go pay the cashier and return. I did just that and then " the wait ".

I sat around for about 45 minutes waiting for my interview, I was " B " so figured it would a bit of a wait. I watched all the people come in it was quite funny everyone looks so clueless exiting the elevator I am sure I looked the same but hey nobody was watching me. I decided to have a coffee, big mistake it cost a dollar and was horrible. Then I heard my name, showtime.

I entered a room with a wicket where I was handed my original docs and asked to sign the ds156. He took my prints and eluded I was approved before I even started, I was feeling pretty cocky at this point. He asked me three question; how did we meet?, ever been convicted?, and ever have any trouble crossing the border to the U.S. . He was satisfied with my answers then told me for all intensive purposes I was approved pending no issues with my finger prints.

I know preperation is the key and my wife did a wonderful job ( ty sweetie ) but I did not need a GD shred of evidence it was kind of a let down I didn't get to fight the good fight. Just be prepared ya never know. I want to thank e1 on this site, you have all been a great help in one way or another with info, advise, or just a laugh when we needed it. If anyone needs help seeing I am an old pro at this feel free to ask ....... we are in fact here to help each other.

Thanks Scott dancin5hr.gif

Yay grats! Good job. Now maybe she'll clone you and kiss all of you instead of kill tongue.gif

Now that I've read two stories that mention "do you want my job" I think I'm going to make a "Yes, I want your job." t-shirt and sell them to people outside of the consulate. I wouldn't be bold enough to wear that inside, though tongue.gif
