Buxton babe
Further to my previous post, we busied ourselves with making final preparations after arriving in Tampa on April 9/10th.
We had ALL of my fiancee's children plus three friends fly over from the uk, and this is where things started to go wrong. Us Airways lost two bags and did not deliver them for 20 hours, even though they arrived at the airport only three hours late. We wasted all of Monday (16th) waiting for luggage.

The other Task on Monday was to get a SS card. This was where we realised that my fiancee had had a brain fart and completed the bottom (departure record) of the I-94 with her new married name, reasoning that she would have a new name when she next departed the USA.
So Homeland security has her listed in her maiden name in their computers, but her I-94 complete with EAD stamp has her new married name, before she was married. This discrepancy caused us to be sent back to the local immigration office to fix the problem before we could be given a SS card.
We managed to get into the local office before we were sent away to get an Infopass appointment.

On April 17th it was our wedding. As usual lots of minor panic situations including the reataurant running out of gas to cook, BEFORE the main course was served. We didnt panic as much as they did, twenty minutes later all was back on track. We were very pleased with our wedding experience on the day.

We took of on honeymoon for a couple of days without opening a single present or card leaving our family and friends in the home, hence our hurry.

You are not going to belive this but we slept and slept (yes I mean slept) for two whole days, sat by the pool for only about two hours. All those hectic sleepless nights caught up with us.

Now We are home, and preparing to visit our local USCIS office on Fridat 20th at 7am to get this mess sorted out.

Hopefully we will get everything sorted out and be fililing AOS AP EAD on Monday 23rd April.
