I love to play Age of empires and I'm waiting for this game we ordered Age of Mythology which is really cool but it's taking forever for them to send. Aparently they stop making the game so we had a hard time finding it to buy, so we'll see. I hope I get it soon because I still have 9 more days without hubster n it sucks! (Plus I can't spend 9 more days creating these type of thread, it'll piss people off )

If we're talking about steamy reading material....try Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series. Now that is some steamy stuff...and definitely interesting. Those 9 days without the hubby will pass by and you won't even know it!

Yeah, I think it was one of your posts that got me to start reading them and so now I am HOOKED! I need to get Obsidian Butterfly and Narcissus In Chains because I missed those. Right now I am reading Incubus Dreams

On the poll, this is not a question to ask when I haven't seen C. since January because I pretty much vote for 'right now, however' at this point.

Let me tell you....this may definitely help you forget. I picked up the books (3 in the first series, all already out in paperback) by a recommendation and I was hooked. I remember taking the book w/ me everywhere (ashamed to admit even to the bathroom at work) so I could read...I just couldn't put it down.
Here's the amazon review of the first book in the series, Kushiel's Dart. Take a look, see if its something you'd like.
If you do end up reading the books, let me know. I've recommended the books to all my friends, and haven't had anyone come back to tell me they didn't like it.

Hmmm, this is certainly worth looking into! I LOVE the Renaissance (sp?) I will let you know the MOMENT I start reading it... in the bathroom! lol Had to get ya on that one!

No worries! I have a feeling you'll love this series. (especially if you love renaissance, history since this offers an alternative renaissance). The author has started a new trilogy (the second in that is coming out this summer.....I can barely wait!) which still takes place in the same "world"...just the main character and the point of view changes.

Either way ... aren't the results are always good

Interesting, usually threads about any subject other than sex becomes a sex thread. Now this one is obviously about sex, 100% and we managed to turn into a books thread. We're evolving

Interesting.....
- At this point US females prefer to be on the bottom almost 2 to 1 while non-US females prefer to be on top 2 to 1. While both US males and non-US males are evenly split (don't care how, they just want to get laid?). No change from mawilson's observation yesterday.
- We have a lot more female voters than male voters.

I made no observation about my preferences, I only asked a question based on the limited options you offered.

You, not Charles, creating the poll seems consistent with my observation that many more females than males are responding. Is this kind of thing something that women like to discuss?
