Full Version: It's Monday!
I hate Mondays so much that I can't sleep because I am dreading going in. I hope this week goes by fast. Have a good day everyone!

happy yucky weather monday. for awhile i thought hmm maybe we wont get that snow...i was wrong, its here..........all the schools in the area are closed.........yay......time to crawl back into bed and wait for Geo to call me.............i miss him so much and am crying more often this time then any other seperation to date.......maybe its cause he is in saudi and i know i cant just 'go there' i have to wait for a visa to be issued........blahhhh
I'm actually relieved to be at work. Something to keep my mind busy. I was so excited this weekend that I barely slept or even ate for that matter. I was up bright and early this morning....at 4am!
only reason i'm glad its monday is that my mama is flying here to visit me TOMORROW! yay! 
Before leaving work on Friday, a disaster started to unfold. I wasted the whole week-end trying to figure it out and now am here at work waiting to deal with it. I am not sure if it is the result of incompetence or an attempted coupe de'ta. I am betting on the coupe.

A "coupe" is a car.
It's "coup d'etat" (but I don't know how to get the little accent marks on my keyboard, so it's still not right ) Ahhhhh l'etat c'est moi...........

How was everyone's weekend? My parents went out of town to visit my sister, so Amed and I decided to house and dog sit for them. We kind of lazed around the house, watching tv, and then went out to do a bit of shopping. I promise you, my husband likes to shop more than most women I know! He loves the thought of getting a deal. He never buys anything full price!
Then, on Sunday, there was a huge storm out here, and the power was out for 8 hours. Fun, fun! We took the opportunity to take a long afternoon nap. It was actually really nice!

Our office is kind of empty since a lot of people live out in Jersey that was hit pretty badly with the storm - as for me - just another slow weekend.
On Friday we went out with a bunch of my coworkers to Caroline's - comedy club to see David Alan Grier -that was funny... otherwise all is well...
