I cook a little more (USC), but my hubby does his share of cooking too. He's learned that when I put in a 12 hour shift, come home late and say I'm not cooking.....it means I'm not cooking!

He makes the best rice so I'm always having him make rice for us.

Usually I cook a bit more when he's here.
But now that USCIS misinformation forces us to be apart for probably like 9 months with no breaks, both cook. He for staying fit, and I because I can't afford to eat out (and don't want to either).

My adorable husband and I love to cook together....so many a day we cook together in our tiny kitchen...and dream of the day when we get a bigger one so we don't always bump butts around the sink.

Hmm...not that that's a bad thing y'know.

My fiance, the non-USC (male) does most of the cooking. I love it! He's really good at it and has no problem at all cooking.
He can't work yet so it's nice to come home to a nice warm dinner (and later leftovers for work).
I've never liked cooking, though I did it before he came - now I barely ever do.

I've had some wonderful veggie chili in my time. I think it really depends on the recipe used and the person cooking it. Everyone has a different idea over what tastes nice, I guess.

It's er...um...a Texas thing. Live in Texas long enough, you will be told repeatedly that chili should contain beef and beef only. No beans. I guess it's a joke that only works on Texans.

It's probably 60/40 in our house. We take turns just because of our odd working schedules. I'm a bit of a food purist so we always cook from scratch. Nowt comes from a a packet or freezer cos I just can't stand additives and crap in food. We even make our own yoghurt. Mr Lou Lou wasn't the best of cooks when I met him, but he's been a good pupil and now makes a mean roast dinner (better than I ever will), and can cook eggs any style to perfection every time. I'm the one who cooks the curries, Thai meals, and chillis...the easy stuff.

The non-USC. She really likes to cook. Me, I couldn't cook to save my life. Although, during our visits, I have been tasked with becoming her "sous-chef" and assigned jobs that aren't very difficult to do (mostly because she's worried about me injuring myself with a knife or something, which is sort of amusing, considering the fact I own a gun and an entire sword collection!) in order to assist her in the kitchen. Otherwise, I generally lend moral support and try to stay out of her way.

When we are together we both cook equally. My husband is a great cook. We like to cook for eachother. He really likes to whip up really nice dishes to surprise me with. We both like cooking food from each others culture and like to introduce new dishes as we go along. We both just really enjoy spending time in the kitchen cooking together and listening to music. Sometimes we just say ok lets make up a new dish ....and we go and reinvent our culinary skills together and come out with an amazing new dish.
