helpsmilie.gif Hello! My mom has a 10 year multiple visa to the US and my dad is currently petitioned under an employer in the US as well. Our family is petitioned in the F4 category and my mom plans to come to the US for a visit. Once the F4 petition is on process, is it possible for her to get petitioned or continue the processing while she is there? i guess one of the things that can cut too much work for her is the medical/physical from st. luke's, coz i know that incoming immigrants should undergo the procedure. Perhaps my dad on the other hand can switch his ongoing "work status thru an employer" into the F4?
Answers/suggetstions are greatly appreaciated.
Thanks in advance!

They can not enter the US with the Intent to Immigrate on a Visitor Visa, which work Visa is it?

Do they have a visa number under F4, when did their sibling apply?

My mom can surely enter the US coz she has 10yrs visitors visa and my dad is currently petitioned thru an employer in the US. The question was, just in case my mom arrived the US using her tourist visa, and so happened the F4 got approved for processing(which is supposed to be in the Philippines) can she be allowed to stay and/or have the processing done and continue while she is in the US? And can my dad switch his ongoing employment petition into the F4 since he is already in the US?

She can seek entry, not the same thing.

If she did not have this intent on entry, presumably this was filed many many years ago.

Yes, assume he has a H visa?
