I'm cleaning and tidying. Can't have her see the state I leave this place in. I normally just tidy the bit in the background of the webcam shot!!

Just leave the laundry til she gets there!

Yeah. Laundry by one's self is quite dull. Much better to have someone help hang it all out!

Thanks so much all, esp. mags for starting the thread. And my honey for his shameless 'laundry' contributions. I'm really looking forward to seeing my sweetheart, who says he doesn't even mind if I'm dreadfully sick.

I felt horrible yesterday, a bit more tolerable today. Just got back from my parents' house where I dropped off my 'kid' (aka cat) for them to watch over while I'm away. But I'm off to bed now - have to get up at 3:30!

Not that much longer now! They'll be a steam haze over London in a few hours. Most Londoners will call it smog...but we know better!

Wow. Well I discovered that my carpet is a pinky beige colour, not grey, after I made sure the vacuum cleaner still worked.

Under the dust I found some things I'd lost. Namely a stereo system and a widescreen TV. I'm checking the vacuum bag in case Glen Miller is in there!

I went shopping and got Tracy all the things she'll need including the obligatory supply of diet Pepsi, tissues, (cos you girls aren't happy unless the bin in the bathroom is overflowing with make-up stained tissues), and popcorn for when we are curled up together on the sofa watching movies.

I've got my glucose tablets and Red Bull and I've got an oxygen cylinder with face mask ready to resuscitate me. Only one thing's missing and she'll be here in about 6 and 1/2 hours.


Ohh and Mags, in honour of your lovely sig piccy, I had to add mine

In breaking news today, ground tremors were felt across London in what was described as a rhythmic banging. Scientists are baffled as to what could be causing this.

My dearest is sitting behind me on the couch, pluting away on his guitar while I type. We went to his GP today where he got 2 jabs in preparation for the medical on Friday. Got his two passport photos (for the interview) done at Snappy Snaps nearby. Then came home, walked to the pub, got a bit tipsy walked home, watched a Rush DVD.

And I couldn't love him anymore if I tried.

AWW! So happy for you guys.

See if you love him so much when hes leaving crap all over your floor, toothbrush NOT in the holder and would ratherplay his guitar (like my husband) than rinse out his dishes!

Tommy just went home on Tuesday morning after 12 wonderful days here. I'm a very sad and miserable girly atm and want to just be there in the US already. Time seems to go so quick when he is here, then so slow and frustrating while we wait for this long and drawn out Visa process

I hope your time together goes as slow as possible for you both!
