My fiance had his interview March 26. He then received a paper that there was more admin. processing needed and he took his passport. A few days later they sent him a notice that siad they are now ready to issue his visa. And to call the courer and he did and they picked it up on April 4. They still have not sent it back. When he called the Embassy said they did receive it and it could be two weeks before he gets it back.. Is this normal? This seems like a long time. Sometimes I become worried they are going to change their mind..

Would be helpful if we knew what embassy your fiance was interviewed.

I think you are ok, just be patient. They wouldn't ask for his passport if they had some more thinking to do. Sometimes they tell you that you'll get back something in "2 weeks" so just in case they dont finish within the normal 5 business days, you wont be calling & yelling at them. If the 2 weeks are up though, I'd be on a call to them to find out details.
Also, can't you check through the courier's website to see if a package is en route to you?

I do know that the London embassy was closed on both Friday and Monday for the Easter holiday - so that may be part of the delay.

Sometimes delivery of visas from the UK embassy is quick, sometimes not.
Mine was pretty speedy (after an RFE at the embassy) but there have been others who have waited just over a couple of weeks for their visa. As tracyTN pointed out, there has been some bank holidays and that surely does slow things down just a little.
If you get past another week or so then I would call to find out.
Good luck.
