Even when they do talk to you, embassies are confoundingly inane.
Email 1 re: interview time:
me: Hi, I am just wondering if my husband's interview is still at 8am (or is it another time) on the 24th of April. (included all the info, case number, address, birthday, sock lint, etc.)
them: I remember you, hope your studies are going well!

Email 5 re: interview time:
me: Hi, I am just wondering if my husband's interview is still at 8am (or is it another time) on the 24th of April. (included all the info, case number, address, birthday, sock lint, annoyance, large ammounts of hate, incredulous feelings, etc.)
them: Yes, he needs to bring the I-130 documents.
Funny part about email 5? I had asked that question 3 emails prior and never recieved any straight answer.
ETA: email 6 is pending:
me: Hi, my husband had his interview changed to April 24, 2007. Will he need to be there are 8am or at noon? Or is there another time?

Maybe they'll tell him the day of the interview what time to show up ! If I were you, I'd have him there at 7:30 am. Hopefully, the embassy will answer your question by then though!
