Hi everyone! I'm bored and can't go out at least to buy groceries since DMV cancelled my license after my I-94 expired. My AOS & EAD are still pending and was told by DMV to present documents that will prove my legal presence. What will I do? I also have kids to send to school everyday, and it's a big burden for me and my husband. Thanks! God Bless!

Did they actually put an expiration date that was within the 3 months of the I-94? When I went with my fiance for his license, he got his with a renewal date a yr away.

Every state treat driver's license differently, some only want a SSN, others want SSN and EAD that is valid for a year or more others will accept the i-94 as EAD, in the case of K-1, but only as long as the I-94 is valid. DMV is one of those things that is a state by state thing.
