Could anyone advise me what documents I will need to take to the interview in London? We've not yet received an NOA2 but I want to prepare as much as possible in advance so some guidance would be appreciated.
TracyTN
They will tell you what to bring (via packet 3). Obviously you'll need the originals of the documents in your petition, and your (physical) NOA2 as well.

That link has some more info as well. Isn't VJ informative?

Thanks for that Tracey - yep, VJ is soooo informative - wish we'd found it in January!

By the way, I have a current enhanced police check through my employer - do you know if that is acceptable in place of a police certificate?

Not sure on that one but I think it has been asked before and as far as I am aware it has to be the official one from New scotland Yard, I am sure someone will correct or confirm that

I don't think so. Has to be a subject access form from your local police constabulary as far as I am aware.

Here's the link to the form you'll need to use and get the police cert for the interview.

Good luck on everything and I hope your NOA2 comes soon.

Also, check out (on the embassys website, and you'll also recieve this later on the line from the embassy) which vaccines he'll need, and get him to go to his local GP and ask for his vaccine history and make appointments to get the ones hes missing to save a fee having to do it later at the medical.
