First time visajournier----If I have discovered this forum earlier my life would be alot easier. I thas been a full year since I filed the first paper work. Due to some very unfortunate events. Up until now the NVC had just received the DS 230 a week ago. I cant never get thru the phones with them. Can anyone please tell me how much longer I have to wait for the NVC to complete my case. Is the DS 230 the last thing before the interview? Thx

It normally take about 3-4 weeks for the DS230 to be reviewd and approved. I assume that you have also sent in the AOS (1864) form earlier.

I'm not sure what the process is for the Phillipines after NVC approves the documents - whether it's sent to the consulate or if the NVC keeps hold of it until an interview is scheduled. You may want to ask this in the Phillipines forum.

Good luck!

Thx for the reply. Yes I have sent in 1864 EZ in already ealier. If3 -4 weeks is the case then I just have to wait. As for the consulate, I was married in Vietnam, not the Phillipines. Thx
