Have him look at the "official instructions" that come with the I-485. Look at page 3 of the instructions about half way down on the right side where it says you only have to have the vaccinations supplement rather than an entire medical exam if your visa medical is less than 1 year old.

But don't worry, if he doesn't include it, they will put the application on hold while they send you an RFE (Request for Evidence) asking that you supply it, or they will ask for it at the interview.

The interview letter will specifically request that you bring it to the interview if you haven't already submitted it.



Thanks john and marlene!! I will read the instructions with him again.. That lessens my worries a little bit knowing that if we ever miss sending anything, we will be given a chance to complete it..

Both with the pre-interviewer and the CO-> it will be a counter with window. With the pre-interviewer, there's no seats, so you will be standing, but with the CO, there are 2 seats per counter so it is more or less relaxing... (maski mangatog tuhod, naka-upo naman)... whistling.gif



To add a little....the Consul window with seats is in a small room with a door opening to enter inside the room, but no door. You are separated from the Consul in the room by a wall with a window in it and a pass-through slot for handing over documents. If you wonder if its private....ummm....nope. The applicant that is next up after you will sit in the chairs outside the open doorway and can hear what is said inside. Not that we listened or anything. whistling.gif

The interview was ok. From the CO, we got was the "everything looks fine" line. There have been so many AR's ... I'll believe it's approved when they release it. BTW, Cheryl received packet 4 on May 3. I suspect they sent (another) one when she requested to pick it up at SLEC.

Mike... As you know we're in the same boat. 'Everything looks fine, wait for the visa or to hear from us'. I will not believe everything is okay until the visa is in hand. No news thus far. I tried to call the USE a few minutes ago but forgot they closed at 4:30pm. I guess we're not going to know anything until Monday at the earliest. I see Jeff & Fria were able to pickup their visa today and since we all had interviews at the same time that makes me nervous. I hope we're not on AR. helpsmilie.gif

Hi guys, just stepped out from the car. Im happy to announce that Im approved kicking.gif kicking.gif :dance:Its been a long day for us left in A.C 3:00 AM, we got done 9:45, and its 5pm now. Both consuls that interviewed us were nice. And at the end I ask if Im approved, he said "yes" and I asked him if I can show him something he replied "yes" again, I showed him Byron's medical certificate that he have a laceration on his head and bruised rib cause of the allergic reaction he have to Neproxin and he fell on the floor his head hit something hard and that I wished to finalize my travel arrangements so we can be together specially this time when he really needs a companion and so on and forth. To make the story short I'll be picking our visa next week.

After the interview I sent an sms to Ate Cora PW so we can meet up but unfortunately she wasnt feeling well. I hope your feeling better now smile.gif

Then I treated myself at Getaway spa<I figured I need a break with all my frustrations and finally the interview was done>, pythomer treatment, its really great lost an inch on both of my thighs, arms and waist, they will measure you before the treatment then after it. I'll definitely go back in there. P2000/session.

I would like to thank everybody here with all your help and for wishing me luck. The rest of may batch you can definitely do it guys, just pray hard have faith and knowing that you got all the paperwork needed you'll be fine. I was surprised I got done early some of the applicants like the ones that have 6:30 am appointment were still there waiting, cuz of paperwork problems, wrong input, no pics etc. Really a great advantage being a member on this site, were making friends and being updated the same time.

Sorry din coz I could not meet up with you. I think I'm in the initial stages of my menopause. I'm having abnormal bleeding. At any rate, I hope that in the very near future, all of us Manila VJers can have a reunion Stateside. Hala, mag-umpisa ng pag-ipunan (start saving up).

Both consuls that interviewed us were nice. And at the end I ask if Im approved, he said "yes" and I asked him if I can show him something he replied "yes" again, I showed him Byron's medical certificate that he have a laceration on his head and bruised rib cause of the allergic reaction he have to Neproxin and he fell on the floor his head hit something hard and that I wished to finalize my travel arrangements so we can be together specially this time when he really needs a companion and so on and forth. To make the story short I'll be picking our visa next week.

After the interview I sent an sms to Ate Cora PW so we can meet up but unfortunately she wasnt feeling well. I hope your feeling better now smile.gif

Then I treated myself at Getaway spa<I figured I need a break with all my frustrations and finally the interview was done>, pythomer treatment, its really great lost an inch on both of my thighs, arms and waist, they will measure you before the treatment then after it. I'll definitely go back in there. P2000/session.

I would like to thank everybody here with all your help and for wishing me luck. The rest of may batch you can definitely do it guys, just pray hard have faith and knowing that you got all the paperwork needed you'll be fine. I was surprised I got done early some of the applicants like the ones that have 6:30 am appointment were still there waiting, cuz of paperwork problems, wrong input, no pics etc. Really a great advantage being a member on this site, were making friends and being updated the same time.

Hi guys, can somebody pls give me the address for the CFO seminar location and what documents should I bring with me? Im trying to plan ahead, and because I dont know Manila well I'll have to ask somebody to drive me there and pick the visa in the embassy the same day. Thanks

Scott my flight is on the 2nd, missed Mira's flight by a day, travel agent cant get a seat in that flight. Ticket prices almost gave me a heart attack $1850 for me and my son, e-ticket. You probably got the same deal

My baby has been here in the states now for a week and we are having a great time. She has met some of my family and they have warmly welcomed her. The weather in Seattle has been cool and sunny and the fresh air she is enjoying, no pollution like Manila. I just wanted to let you all know how we are doing and the patience is well worth it. It took almost 1 year for her to get here, the biggest thing in all of this process is patience, you must have.

I see.... crying.gif Sorry to hear that. We were hoping she would have a travel companion. Oh well, nothing she can do cuz the flight is full. We paid about $838 US for her ticket only as her daughter will follow to join. We actually had wanted her to fly June 2 as it worked better for me at my work in coming to pick her up from the airport and its my birthday that day. smile.gif Then when she went to make the reservation, the travel agent told her that day was fully booked, so they made the reservation for the 1st and wait-listed her for the 2nd. Then I re-arrange my schedule at work so I can get her at the airport on June 1 and later when she went to buy the actual ticket, they told her the 2nd was again available. crying.gif I had already gone through a lot to get my work schedule changed so we just stuck to the 1st as it made it one day sooner. Now I wish we had gone to the 2nd....but then maybe you can't get that day cuz it might be full after Mir's ticket. ohmy.gif hehehe Happy trip on the 2nd and congrats!!!

In the PRISM class they also asked Mir what was my highest level of education. They asked for a photocopy of my divorce decree and also a photocopy of Mirasol's marriage contract with annotation of the annulment. They asked to see some photos of me and kept one too. ohmy.gif I guess in case I turned out to be an axe murderer from Texas that somehow missed detection in the backgrounds and name checks.

4 days from now will be my interview at the USE. Do they accept a xerox copy of latest ITR and W-2? because that's what my fiance's parents mailed me (as you know my fiance is currently in the warzone). But still i wish they could have sent me the ones they printed from the computer not the xerox copy.

IMO you can only have one 'original' copy of your ITR. I used copies of everything I submitted to the IRS. The only thing that was original was one of the 4 original W2 statements my employer sent me.

Hi guys, can somebody pls give me the address for the CFO seminar location and what documents should I bring with me?


1) For the seminar and guidance counselling:
PRISM
2/F Equitable PCI Bank
2422 Taft Avenue, Manila

Requirements:
Original and photocopy of passport and visa, one valid ID card with photo, 2 x 2 photo, P250 fee
Also, you have to know the maiden name of your fiance's mother.


2) For CFO sticker:
Citigold Center
1345 Pres. Quirino Avenue cor. South Superhighway, Manila

Requirements:
Certificate of attendance from PRISM, original passport and visa, P400 fee

We're still waiting here in limbo. Delbros status says our case is still at the USE and 5184 says the same. She couldn't tell me if our case was fine and just in line behind others or if there was a problem. All they could say is to continue waiting... unsure.gif

i am also waiting for my visa to be deliver to me. I finish my interview may 16 too. and the consul says that i am approved.

Jealous na jealous ko. I wish i was at the interview stage too. But congrats to everybody approved and my prayers to those who have some difficulties. Well I get to see my asawa to be in 3 days. I leave for Manila on PAL from Honolulu. Then take the Manila to Laoag on sunday. Hmm i am excited, yet worried coz I am jobless again. Well have to take a chance for my love. I also need to recharge,hehe. Well I have to brush on my Tagalog. I am not that good, and people tend to think I am a Meztizo and speak Tagalog to me. Hmm it is hot here, but I am going to be even more hot soon.

Hi Jeng! I brought 2 photo albums with me when I went on my interview, the consul only looked at 1 album though. I was asked to open it on half then he pulled it out on his end and vice versa when he returned it to me. He looked into all the pictures in that album. I asked if he wants to see the other 1, I been told thats enough, lol

thanks gracy...did you sign already the DS 156K? It says there though that "do not write below this line"? lira's tip was to sign on the DS forms including the DS156K?

Our prescreener asked for select pics, chat, email, etc so have them prepared in advance and further info if needed. We have our entire history of communication but were only asked to present a few at the pre screener and the CO never asked.

I called Lorraine at 5184 this morning and was told that our case was approved yesterday afternoon. That's a big relief for us. At least we know that we're not in AR now. I just hope we get the Delbros SMS soon so we can get the visa. I requested a pickup from Delbros but they said they don't allow it. I even offered to pay extra or a 'tip' and she just laughed and said she couldn't do that. tongue.gif She did say it would be delivered next business day within Metro Manila so hopefully we'll get that text message from them soon. We have flights together going back early Friday so we're cutting it close now.
