I came home wednesday and said to him .."u nah call u modda, cause u know she a wait pon u fi call" so he said" she caan call"..any way him no call ..Friday she call MY phone and all she said was "mek mi talk to Kashi" I was ewww...no hello, goodnight nuttin. At that point mi did a go hang up mi phone cause u disrespectful but being the nice person i am I passed him the phone all i heard was "A WAH MI DO U, A WAH MI DO, A MI A UR MODDA, A MI BRING FI 9 MTHS" going on and on. he couldn't even get a word in all he could say was " wah, wah u a talk bout" and she hung up on him..he's saying that from him come she no call him and him not even walk her to her door..and him ask fi him sister..

I agree. When I gave Javon a copy of the DS-230 form to complete he got frustration and said he wasn't going to do it. I just left him and said ok I'm done b/c we're wasting time together. It took him a few wks to realize I wasn't joking b/c I didn't call not even once!!! They are stubborn, but so I'm I. I don't have time to play games either you do it or not either way the visa is for you not me. Now he wishes he spent all that time listening to me instead of acting like he knows everything. Just tell him what needs to get done in a nice way and allow him to do it in his own time. JALOVE, just have hubby call a few labs in Mobay anyone of them should be able to do a drug test for him. And he should definately avoid second hand smoke as much as possible. If they are truly his friends they will respect the fact that this is his future and will not smoke around him. Wait until he actually has an interview date and then schedule him for the pre test. If he's clean, proceed to schedule the medical if not, call and have the interview changed for 2-3 months later.

I tried that whole stay out of it thing a few times. Eventually, I couldn't hold my tongue and jumped right in with my opinions. Voicing my opinions really made my MIL step back and realize I wasn't going to be walked all over, nor let her do that to her son anymore.

They do random drug tests where I work, they said　for second hand smoke to show up on a test, would be the equivalent of being one of 8 people in a phone box where the other 7 were smoking for 24 hours.....

Them guys smoke allll dayyy long i neva in my life seen anything like it !

Yeah, I already got rid of a bunch of stuff. Sold or gave away all my college textbooks (about 40 books!). Donated a bunch of stuff to a garage sale in which proceeds go to an animal shelter. Donated 9 semi-formal dresses and 3 pairs of shoes to Hope Closet which helps low-income girls go to the prom and such. And threw about 3 garbage bags and an old desk out in the trash And I'm just getting started!!!

Yes, that's what we did. We got delayed by Hurricane Ivan or else we would have gotten the visa 2 weeks earlier than we did! And we got to pick it up 4 business days after he got approved We interviewed on a Friday and picked it up the next Thursday.

We also didn't need the non-impediment to marriage form.
