U KNOW WHAt i did when I ordered mine..did it online and have it sent to my granny house 2 copies paid $20 US got it in about 1 week....

Who? What? Where? When? How? HUH?

Mindy and I both looked into this.....we did ours online too. They MADE us get 6 stuipd copies of them. I have enough to wallpaper the bathroom now. Suppose we'll NEVER have to worry about ordering them again.

I feel numb at this point, is that normal? I am drained and so tired, sleep has eluded me in the past couple of nights. I am thinking he left his phone at home and perhaps went to get his long-awaited no impediment form? *sigh*

Hey Everyone!

I know its been a while, and some of you probably don't know who I am, but I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I hope everyone is doing well, and things are going smoothly with this crazy process. Just a little update....my case was expedited by the NVC and sent to the embassy in Kingston...yay! I am kind of confused though because I just sent off the AOS bill/ DS 3032 two weeks ago , I have not received anything regarding payment of the IV bill nor sending in the I-864. They already sent the DS 230 part 1 packet to my hubby, so maybe I will pay those fees through the embassy?? I dunno. I am just going with the flow. Crazy because I was going to use James Shortcuts, but maybe I won't need to. Not sure if hubby will be home in time before the baby is born, I am about 29 weeks ( 7 months?) now. But maybe God will work a miracle, as he has already done for us. A lady from the embassy told my husband that she would try to schedule him for the next interview appointment that they have available...whatever that means. I guess I was under the impression that if the NVC expedited our case, the embassy would function in the same manner, i.e. emergency visa appointment. But anyway, I just wanted to give you ladies an update and let you know that things are going ok for me. I will check for you guys later.

I'm still stressed out Still haven't found a house yet! The first 2 that I made offers on wouldn't lower their price enough to meet my budget. The 3rd one got sold right after they rejected MY offer They didn't even counter-offer. We're looking at more tonight.

Tony leaves for Jamaica on Monday and I leave next Saturday. I haven't even begun packing or getting ready yet and I have an out-of-town wedding this weekend that's going to take up all my time. I'm going crazy

Maybe I'll just stay in Jamaica and live in a little hut on the beach It would be cheaper!!

The best cheese steaks for people coming from out of town is down South Philly. Pat's or Geno's steaks (9th and Passyunk). Tourist for some reason love these steak stores. I personally think that the best cheese steaks are from the neighbourhood pizza stores.
Jamaican restaurants - Tropical Restaurant 52nd and Haverford (West Philly), Jamaican Jerk Hut 15th and South street.

I can't help you on the Puerto Rican restaurants, Sorry. Hope this information helps! When are you coming? I know my cousin Freddie is coming down to philly this weekend from CT.

Never dated an American woman

Did you guys hear about those 6 miners that are trapped underground? That is so awful The only station we get here at work is CNN so that's all they talk about all night. That would be so scary. I am so claustrophobic I don't even like elevators No way could I work underground! I hope they get to them soon.

I called and made an appointment for Donna from the States. Donna works a lot of hours and can't hold on the phone waiting. She lives in Kingston with two places to go for the visa medical. So, I called both places and made two appointments about a week apart. That way if she missed the first one there was another already scheduled.

I also called from NY and made my husbands medical appt...

Thanks guys for the Happy Birthday and Anniversary wishes. We are off to Red Lobster tonight to celebrate. I can't believe its been a year and that its my last year in my 20's. My wish for my this year is to find a business that doubles my teaching salary so Dwain and my dreams can come true.


Were also going over to my parent house to tell them that hubby passed his second placement test and made it into freshman English, that he got his drivers licenses, show them the new car we bought, and tell them we are pretty sure hubby has a part time job. We will know on Friday crossing our fingers. We also have started working on an internet business with a great Team. I just never believed it would be so great in 2 months and all this would happen. . O.K. I won't bore people to death with all this news.


This weekend is are USA pig roast reception. We have 185 people attending it should be fun very low key no dressing up.

Question:

If you do not have all of the documents for the interview, what would happen? Will they still interview and just ask you to bring back the missing information?

From what I have heard and my understanding, they should go to the interview regardless of having the no impediment form. Worse thing that can happen is they are issed a 221G that basically states they need to return to the embassy once they obtain the form and then they get approved. The embassy may or may nor ask for the form. It is better in my opinion to risk getting the 221G rather than rescheduling another appointment and perhaps waiting forever for it.

When did he order the form and where?

i *think*...this is just my opinion.....but if you are missing the forms that need to be typed out like the aff. of support, the one paper that needs the barocde...the ds-230 those kinds of papers then i believe they will turn you away and rescedule you...because i had heard they only wanted typed out forms starting sometime last year....BUT if you are missing some papers that really are not in your control...i.e Non-impediment then i think they will still interview you but give you a 221g....

Oh boy the drama begins now. Seems like first part of this process was much easier than part two. Before i couldnt relate to anything posted but now its kicking in since noa2 on friday.... Im tryin to tell chris to go see abt the police report next week to get the ball rolling he says dont rush me i dont like bein rush oh boy here we go. Then he tries to tell me how the process works, mind you he had never done it before or read anything about it lol .....then i send him all the questions he says i dont think i can go through with this visa process i dont like people askin me all these questions...im stress already and nothin has even started yet....
