Hi Guys

I had my interview Feb 14th 2006 for my k3, then they told me AP between 1 to 2 months, i sent during this time couple emails still pending. This time i got a message say "We will schedule you for an appointment and will notify you about the date later".

I am very depressed do you think this is a bad news or what ?

I'm sorry it did not come out perfect but it sounds like a review of your case is still going on and unfortunately you may have to wait a little longer. It isn't really bad news except that it is a delay.

Depending on the embassy, sometimes a second interview is required
after the AP completion and at other times instructions are send
on how to get the passport to the embassy for the visa.

What's AP means??!!!

AP = administrative processing, a catch all phrase for background checks, security checks, document
checks, home investigations etc. Also known as administrative review, I have not been able to
distinguish the two.
This mostly happens after the interview, but also at the NVC level sometimes. It is a delay known
as the 'black hole' and noone will tell you how long you are going to be stuck in it or exactly why!
It can last from days to weeks to months ....even years.

They said 1-2 months hopefully you will be out of AP by then. Good luck!

Thank you guys for your replies, i called the embassy in Egypt they said still pending but i think soon i will have heart attack so then i will rest from all this shiittttttt.
