I submitted my I-130 for my step-daughter back in November 2006. I received the letter confirming the receipt at the Vermont service center. There has yet to be any further action. When I check on the USCIS website it says they are now processing March 12, 2006. I check California and they are processing September 2006.

Whats the deal? Their website has said now processing March 12 since November of last year.

I was originally anticipating 6 months for the whole process.....guess I was way off.

That must be so frustrating to not see any movement in processing times for so long. Sorry to hear that. sad.gif

Why has this thread been moved out of 'Bringing family members to America by US citizens' or whatever that forum is called?? Seems to me this forum is clearly intended for posts about bringing spouses.

This statement is true, but it also has a place for the children/child of a CR1/IR1.

To the OP, I have just had a RFE for my daughter, I was hoping that she would be approved the same time as me but that is not going to happen, will be sorting that out this week.
