A question for people sending in their I-130 package to Frankfurt. Did you pay 80 euros to have the filing fee processed? I am looking at the website (after calling frankfurt who referred me to the website) and it says that one must pay 80 euros in order to get the filing fee.

Is there a way around this?

Hi Andrew,
I'm not sure where you found this. Which website? As far as I know, the fee for filing the I-130 is $190, payable with credit card when mailing in the application. I don't know anything about an 80 Euro filing fee, but maybe they've changed something.

Good luck!
Mary

the 80 Euro fee is for other visas... the I-130 costs 190 USD and you can use the credit card form here: http://germany.usembassy.gov/germany/img/a...7/ccpayment.pdf

(I found out about it on this forum)
