hello everyone

My spouse arrived through JFK NEW YORK 03/31/07 on k3 visa, but they did not stamp her passport with EAD, is this an issue to follow up on ?

If you did not like, or did not believe the answer I gave you in your ongoing thread, it is OK to ask me to clarify, tell me you don't believe it, disagree or just to say that you would like someone else's opinion, or that you'd like a back up official source.

Starting a new thread is not a good solution though.

As meauxna stated in your previous thread, K3s are not employment authorised and will not get an EA stamp at a POE upon entry. Your spouse must apply for EAD now that they are in the U.S.

I am new to this site so forgive me if I am posting in the wrong forum. My elderly Aunt, from the Philippines, married an American citizen two years ago and they were both living here in the States. He unfortunately passed away 2 months ago. They had completed the Green Card process but she has not received it yet. She is being told that she cannot receive his benefits until she receives the Green Card. Is this true?

You should start your own thread in this forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;s=&f=127

Give more information, like what status your Aunt had in the US before her marriage, where exactly she is in her Green Card process (if it is complete, why does she not yet have a card) and what benefits she is being denied, and by whom.
