It's been 1 month since my fiance called HCM consulate the first time to asked about Packet 3 and they said they sent it to me on 5th March. Till now i still don't get it yet. So this afternoon he called them again and they said they would send me another one or i will have to go there to pick it up. We don't want to wait for more 1 month and get the same answer so i asked my close friend in HCM to go to HCM consulate to pick it up for me.

Don't know what will happen next....

Heheh, dont worry man. You will get it in the next couple days. Same crap happened to me in December, I called them up in November and December, and they said My package was sent some where in early in December. I did not receive the package till the end of December and the package got the stamped date of Dec 27, 2006. I turned in my already filled form on the Dec 22, 2007. So don't worry, you just need to filled out the DS-230 form and 1 more forms with your case number and turn it in to the Consulate.

I'm not sure what is going on in VN and Package 3. My fiancee dropped off Packet 3 at the Consulate and they still say they don't have a record of it as of today.

We will have to send another one to them and keep calling them until I get confirmation that they recieved. I already wasted 1 month thinking that they got it.

oh, noooo..... I do not think you can ask your friend to pick the packet 3 up for you because you need to show your ID card or your passport at the information window. Try to get it by yourself or ask them to send you another one or you can down load the forms online, file them out and send them to the Consulate.
When you drop off the packet at the information window, make sure you see them to stamp the date on the form and that will makes sure they got it. Be careful in your paper steps because that are the most important process, much more than the actual interview. Hope you guy get your interview date soon

Trang, the problem is he still in the state.

Kevin, if your friend has the Passport, he can just asked the Lady at the front and said for over a months now i did not received the Package 3 for the K1 yet. The laddy will just hand the package to your friend right away. Good luck..

You both are wrong,she got her friend in hcmc picked packet3 for her and sent it to her already,oopss:P

I also sent an email to HCMC on 3th April to tell them about it before my friend came to pick the Packet 3.

This afternoon HCMC sent me an email back and they said they resent Packet 3 to me today. But my friend picked it up yesterday morning and sent to me by EMS already. I'm waiting to receive it.
