After over a month of torture, but lots of support, I received our packet 3 for my fiance's interview in Amman. I received it here in the States! I had just sent off all his paperwork he'll need too. Luckily, one of our fellow VJ'ers was kind enough to share their k1 packet so I knew what to do (thanks again Julianb). I read through it and its exactly what i sent, but I will definitely scan and fax a copy to my fiance just in case.
I feel some relief though that I did get the packet (confirming our interview date). We'd received the email, but I felt much better getting the same date in the mail! So for those going through Amman, looks like you need to give it between 4-6 weeks before you receive the packet. Be sure your SO provides a current PO Box but don't be surprised if you get it here in the States!

That's exactly what happened to me. i found out we had it sent out all the way back in October (9), but I didn;t even receive the packet until the end of november (27). Frustrating!
You are just FLYING through this process!!!! Congrats on getting the packet!

DS-3032 is the choice of agent and if you sent this in with your address that is why the packages get sent to you the agent in the USA. Well I know that is why I received Hasan's. Not sure if you did or didn't. Just thinking this could be the cause. And well we all know how slow the mail can be from here and Jordan. 
SO this isn't un common the huge wait?? they said my Packet 3 was mailed out on March 25... and we have gotten NOTHING.. And Normally dont they mail it to the Petitoner?
No, the packet 3 is mailed to the beneficiary.

Dee, your husband should've gotten his packet by now. Mine got his within a couple days of leaving the embassy. Maybe have your husband contact TNT or DHL or whichever courier their using now.

I told him to do that the other day... AND i sent a email to the consular AGAIN saying If they have a confiramtion # for the mailed Packet 3 OR if they could mail another one.. cause we have all the paper work ready (almost)
Amman sent our K3 to me in the states and not to him. Actually they sent it to our overpaid imcompetant attorney.
