NEEL, after my phone call, i got another couple of touches and then an APPROVAL for both petitions.
Something totally unexpected. - I think that when you think about it all the time, you actually unintentionally prolong the wait. Try to stop dwelling on it, and get ready for a great surprise! wink.gif

Maybe ur right about the "unintentionally prolong the wait" part. I have noticed that me and consolemaster have been the most frantic and we both have yet to receive our approval blink.gif
heheh.. but it is soo hard to sit around when u see people who filed after u getting their approvals.. it just doesn't seem fair. crying.gif

I'm pretty frantic too but don't show it as much. I thought I'd be approved by now...VJ has been predicting my I-130 NOA2 date at May 24 for a while now! I'll be happy when I see any of us get approved. Once one goes, we should all be close.
mamalovesdada
well, consider us. blink.gif We never got any touches on our I129f. Nothing since it was transfered.

what's going on??? wacko.gif

I had that belief too, but when no surprise came after I waited 6 months gently since september2006 I started to panic, eventhough I didn't plan for I-129F to avoid any adjustment related issues, I can't help but filed I-129F on March 2006, hoping atleast it will be processed on time!!! and guess what!! it also got stuck like the I-130... it's look like anything that I am sending to USCIS it sits there.... it has become a legend for me... in 1997 when I entered the US, my green card arrived 10 months later where everybody else got their within 2-3 months. in 2002 I filed for naturalization (N-400) and I had to wait full 2 years to complete my citizenship process, and no one knows why that happened, I remember those time I kept calling Customer service and get no answer other than it's pending...we're working... this type of sh*ts...and same thing happening again while trying to bring my spouse....I am wondering if I had to wait another year for this... crying.gif while spoke to VSC officer she told me that without refferal # she can't give me any information like "which part they are currently working on my petition". And I can't get the refferel # unless my case is beyond their processing time frame. According to their website they are still processing March 12, therefore...I have no hope until it moves to september 11 2006!!! I don't know how long I can keep my patience.... Neel, please don't be frustrated by just looking at my case, you should be happy that atleast your one has been touched!! and mine isn't since 3/29/2007(I-130) and 3/28/2007(I-129F).

Yup. I also thought our petition would be approved by now.. I also feel happy to see people get approved; probably thinking they working on our cases. It looks like CSC has been stalled for the past 2 weeks or have issues with their notification/website system.. Anyways this whole process is a test of our patience sad.gif

i also get happy for other people when they get their approval. It just gives me hope that CSC is working. However, i do get envious when people who filed after me get their approval. devil.gif
Haha I guess am not as nice as other people on this forum...... innocent.gif

LvivLover's: You may well be approved and not know it. I got a pair of touches on 16/17 May (maybe like yours a week later). When I went through the RFE calling path, I learned that in fact we were approved on 16 May.

I still don't have my NOA2's, although I do know that the I-129F is stuck in Administrative Processing at NVC.

You could try calling NVC, giving them your I-129F receipt number, and see if they know anything about it. They'd probably have it by now if those touches were an approval and then initial post-approval processing to order printing of the NOA2. (That's what my two touches were, I learned yesterday when I called CSC again.)

Hi everybody, I'm new here.........I'm kind of freaking out about my I-129F, because I seem to be a bit behind most of you. I got my NOA 1 on March 8, it was transferred to California on March 26, touched on April 26, and absolutely nothing since. I'm not as worried about the fact that we haven't been approved, as I am about the fact that it hasn't even been touched for six weeks. Should I be concerned yet? Or is this normal?
cander42
we are in same boot, i am talking about k3 , we have noa1 dated march 6 and transfered the same date you have and touched once on april 12 and since then nothing ,it's driving us crazy

We sent the I129 in late Feb. or early March, and just happened to get the NOA 1 for the I129 on March 8, the same day that we got our NOA2 for the I130. We would have sent the I129 sooner but we had to save some money to pay the fee. But even so, won't it still be quite a bit longer if we wait to get an interview for the CR1?

I'm glad to see we're not the only ones who haven't had touches for a long time......I was starting to think something was wrong. Does it do any good to call and try to find out what's going on?
neel06
Its been 103 days for my I-130 and 91 days for my I-129. crying.gif
i am tired of checking my email, uscis website 10 times a day. I AM TAKING A BREAK kicking.gif
I am so tired that I don't even care when my stupid approval comes at this point. Also, taking a break from visajourney... looking at when others got their approvals isn't helping much... its even more agonizing. wish all you guys the best. kicking.gif

Now I have email from CRIS saying that they are emailing my I-129F NOA2.

Nothing yet on the I-130. Maybe tomorrow. I am thinking about filing to put the I-130 back in play, since the I-129F is caught in security checks. Two petitions moving toward visa issuance are better than one, right?

And now they say that they are finally sending the NOA2 for the I-130. So I should soon have documents from them I need to pursue the I-824, should I decide to.

Since you already have a similar experience as you went trhough 129F as K1 once, I decidedd to ask this question to you: if I proceed with 129F K3 after my K3 petition is approved, does it directly sent to consulate abord for further processing?? when you will be(petitioner) charge for Visa fee? as I look at the processing chart.. flow chart didn't mention anything about the step paying visa fee, isn't that necessary before the interview???
thanks

Same here we have no clue to what is going on. Our packets get updated everyday, but still no e-mail, letter, nothing.

And I have come to the conclusion that the employees at the USCIS call center are children of the devil. Not all of them but a majority.
