called the same uscis number today but it got connected to the California Service Center. I don't what i did differently this time. anyhow, the lady told me i don't have any RFE on my petition but they are still in processing. So atleast takes some worry off.

My husband called to them too. Nothing..........They have said that everything is o.k. and petitions are in regular processing time I see that most of the February/March filers are approved It is so disturbing...

compared to other individuals who filed for their spouses from india- my approval is quite late.
it has been 98 days for my I-130 and 88 days for my I-129. i feel so bumped out.

i just checked the USCIS website and my I-129 was touched today- i don't know what it means but it gives me hope.

First I saw the I-129 Touch, then an approval. Then a couple of hours later, the date on I-130 changed as well, and I got two APPROVAL EMAILS!!

I don't remember feeling SO GRATEFUL for anything lately, - and it is something most couples just take for granted!!!!!!!

Neel, I believe you do get touches if you make a phone inquiry. I hadn't had touches in a long time, called them, and immediately got touched, then no touches since then. Hang in there though! The approvals will be coming soon!

Our were touched again on 06/08 and we made phone inquiry too . My husband called on Monday too and may be our previous touches were connected with that So for now nothing.

yeah this was the first time i was able to get in touch with someone directly from California. I am still hopeful that these touches mean an approval is coming soon......but looking at ur case it appears that these touches were useless....... i am soooo confused now.

Nope, never happened to me. I called daily -- had no touches at all...I think we're trying too hard to make a method out of the madness that is USCIS.

Neel, I think you should be approved shortly (if you haven't already been approved). The notification system seems really flaky lately.

Neel, this is a good sign. That also happens to my I-130, after that, I got an approval.

I just want to ask if where will i get my case number or if my husband will received it . We where approve in our K3 visa April 19/2007. And i am quite far from Manila from Visayas region.

Your question is not very clear. As far as I can understand your I 129 F is approved and you have received your K3 visa. If you are already in USA you must file for AOS. If it is so ask your question in the Adjustment of Status topic. People there are inform with this part of the process.

I doubt about that, I have called them several times but my last touch on I-130 and I-129F was on 3/29/2007 and 3/28/2007.

Did you only got mail via USPS?? and not any email??? if your case were approved on 6/1/2007 you should have a touch on 6/1/2007 atleast... does that mean I can expect an approval letter on my postal mailbox even though my status page says nothing about it??? and one more thing...how did you know that it was sent to Mumbai,India on the day..(6/8/2007). if you called NVC and found that...then my question is... does it directly go to consulate aboard without getting any DS3032 and AOS form and Fee being filed??

Yes, I did not get an email and the online system still says I'm pending! I did not get a touch on June 1st, though I think USCIS system was down during this time.

Unfortunately, I think we're trying too hard to make sense of this immigration process. It's all madness Looking at your NOA1 time, though, you should be approved very soon!

When I called, I used the "RFE trick" to talk to someone from CSC. I inquired about both my I-130 and I-129F and received my touches at the same time (within a couple minutes of calling because I had just checked my status before and after the call). I haven't had any touches since...I just find it to be too much of a coincedence.

Your husband can call the VSC and get the case number, you will get the packet 3 from embassy, good luck.

I also have a similar time line as you do and have a touch as of the 8th of June 2007; i think my approval is coming soon. since i have a touch on friday, how do i interpret this.

I can't believe that it is possible - normal families with children to stay with months divided by force from USCIS. I feel like in Middle Ages. They sneer at us.

I called and asked them if they could tell me if I had any RFEs since I had heard that sometime the information was not always relayed properly on the website/mail. I don't know if it's a good idea or not, but it made me feel a little better to know what my actual status was at the time.

We hope we'll get our I129F approval soon... ahhhhhhhhh... we want to do k3.

From the experience of other people here I can say that your I 129 F will be approve very soon. Maybe on Monday.

YOu will get your case number from NVC. You may call them after 7-10 days from your NOA. However, you husband will also get a hardcopy letter from NVC informing him of the whereabouts of your case approved I-129F and the case number assigned to you.After that, you wait again 2-5 days, when NVC shipped the paper copy of your case to the US Embassy in Manila. After here, you have to wait for your Appoitnment Letter telling you about the medical and interview dates.

I've seen some who were approved at the same however i've noticed both their petitions were sent to VSC and was not transfered. Our I-130 was transfered to CSC while our I129f was left in VSC. I've seen some of the Vj members who were approved on their I130 almost a month already and their k3 are still pending. As if, it was hold or something. I hope that won't happen to us.

This means that your documents are received in USCIS, check is cashed, and now you have to wait to be approved.

Neel, to be honest, I think these touches are probably just the result of your phone call (I think that was you that called). So I wouldn't read anything to them at all even if on Sunday. But, that said, I would be very excited because I think your approval is coming very soon. I'm excited that mine is coming really soon and you are even ahead of me! We're near the end, my friend, but don't go crazy just yet! It is a very maddening process though! That's for sure!

The reason I say don't read anything into the touches...if I remember correctly, you called CSC and asked about your case. I did the same thing on 05/23/07...I got a touch on my I-130 and I-129F both 05/23/07 and 05/24/07, but then nothing since. It looks to me like the same thing you are seeing. I'm hoping this week or next for us!
