Hmmmm.
My petitions haven't been touched in awhile. According to my timeline, the I-129F may be approved on May 30. A few weeks ago, it said May 20 and slipped out to June 2 before settling down on May 30.
For a long time, there wasn't enough data for the timeline to forecast approval of the I-130. Then the timeline forecaster forecasted May 19 for about 10 days until today. Today, the timeline says there's isn't enough data to forecast approval.
I wonder how the timeline forecaster works and how accurate it is.

I don't go by that timeline since it's not very good. I look at the average time between NOA 1 and NOA 2 of others who got the approval. The statistics page gives you a better estimate than the projected timeline.

I'm here -- working late tonight -- about to call my wife from the lab.
I'm curious about how accurate the timelines are. I wonder if the tool would have more predictive power if I-130s sent to NBC,TSC, and CSC were aggregated, since they are all processed at CSC. Perhaps analyzing will tell. On May 1, I collected predicted NOA2 for I-130 and I-129F for all K3 petitioners I found who don't have their NOA2 yet. (As soon as the timeline is updated with the I-129F NOA2, the prediction goes bye-bye.) So I'm hoping people will promptly announce their NOA2s or update their timelines. In a few weeks, I'll have an initial assessment. We'll be in the first cohort, so it won't help us so much, but may help those that follow. Tonight I may get a population of K1 estimated timeline completions.
I'm a bit bummed that my timeline projection for I-129F NOA2 moved two days ago from 30 May to 6 June. But today the timeline has decided that I might get NOA2 for the I-130 on 19 May, which would be great (especially since I expect simultaneous approval). We will see ......

I think that this is different on every case. It depends on how fast NVC receives the approved petition, how fast the consulate receives the petition and how fast they schedule the interview. Generally I believe it takes about two months after the approval of I129F for the visa to be issued. But I have seen people who have to wait 3-4 months after approval and I have also seen people who receive visa within less than two months after approval. So it depends on each case and the country.

TWO months?!! MORE??!! I know people have been waiting for much longer than that, but when I asked at the consulate how long the I-129 usually takes, they said that it is generally under 3 months! And I thought that meant together with the visa issuance.
We were so NOT prepared to wait this long!!

AnnaF - hw did you manage to get an expedite request? My wife is separated from me and our baby while the visa process goes on, my Dad is very active politically and we couldn't get any of our congressmen to do anything but lie to us! (they ALL had completely different excuses about exactly they couldn't help me, and all had different stories on what they
could do) And that is with some direct personal connections, too.
My 129f NOA1 was March 1st ... I'm still waiting to hear back after a couple touches last week. I told my wife that I thought we'd get an acceptance this week, but I doubt that now. *SIGH*
