Just wanted to let you all know that we've finally got our interview date for May 4th. I know I should be for joy, but unfortunately I feel like because it looks like we'll need to reschedule the interview since my wife has her final exams for the first 2 weeks in May, and there is no way she can skip those exams.

Oh that is sad, I’m so sorry that the interview is scheduled during her exams! Are you sure there is an exam on that very date in the morning? Maybe she can try to talk to the instructor to see if there is any possibility of her taking the exam later in the day or some other time?

Rescheduling an interview usually means a delay of 1-2 months. If you definitely need to reschedule, inform the Consulate immediately or else the date will be much later. Good luck!

I'm sure you can get the interview rescheduled the following month.
