WHAT A HAPPY DAY!!!!!

Finally NOA2, this evening while chating with my fiance I check my case status and nothing AS usual. Never even a touch!!! Then while still chatting with here I got a msn pop-up saying I got an email from CRIS!!!!!

I was so excited...I could barely type fast enoguh to her...so I called her. Then I was worried..what if it was denied??? or they wanted more info???

But there it was.... kicking.gif We both were so happy.

CONGRATS Quinn on your approval...and others before me...good luck to all those that follow. I'll be posting again soon.

Prayers answered....Tom

Congratulations on getting your approval. Hope the rest of your journey is smooth! kicking.gif kicking.gif

I am trying to do this the correct way and fast as possible. It's hard loving someone who on the other side of the world. Thanks and good luck..If you ever go back to Vietnam, I would recommend a few place you sure visit. It's so beautiful there. Take care....

I know it. Your ahead of me so it should be soon for you. USCIS should have a queue number letting people know where they sit since they claim petitions are done in order of when they were filed. Seems it would be easy enough to implement. They know how anxious and stressed people get wondering and waiting.

I am new to Visa Journey, don't know how I just found it! But I am an April filer! I am looking at how close I am! Unfortunately, I am travelling out of the country (living with my fiance) and am not at my address. I gave my parents address, so hopefully it will arrive anytime soon!

Jack,

Of course, I'd be glad to help however I can. If I don't know the answer, multiple other people will chime in, I'm sure. When I went I visited Saigon (Tram lives just outside of downtown across the river), and I spent a few days in Dalat. Hopfully I'll be going back soon and often, I love it there! My work is also in the process of opening a new plant in Saigon so I might get to go on the company's dime smile.gif. good.gif

I'm demand to see this thread hopping this week with loud, boisterous, excited, raving, silly, giddy, animated, emotional, passionate, enthusiastic, celebratory, jubilating, drunken, elated, gleeful, blissful, captivated, cheerful, delighted, ecstatic, gleeful, gratified, joyous, lively, merry, peppy, perky, playful, pleased, satisfied, sparkling, thrilled, upbeat, mirthful, god thanking, well wishing, hell even obnoxious announcements of approvals. OK? Is this to much to ask? HAHA. tongue.gif

Got a touch today, first since April 13th. I did call in, but I've done that before and received no touch, plus I'm fairly certain they are not generated by just pulling the case up on the computer, only by actually touching / scanning the file itself. Let's hope this is a good sign for all of us.

Yeah mine was touched once on the 14th of April. I am assuming though, that touch was just to carry it down into the deep dark depths of their Limestone storage cave. smile.gifsmile.gif

I may have gotten excited too soon. I called CSC again and was told that my case hadn't been assigned to someone yet and that the touch was generated by my call. It seems to be confirmed after I got another touch after today's call. So back to waiting...this sucks. I'm so tired of this process, CSC has gone from processing many cases in 75-80 days just a month or so ago, to where NOT ONE CSC April filer, who sent the petition in April, has gotten thier NOA2 three months later.

Over the past few weeks, CSC has increased their processing times by a few weeks, how is this possible? If you look at the immigration timelines section and sort to just CSC, then by NOA2 date, you will find the first few pages that the span on the page is 6-7 days of NOA2's. If you go back a month or so you find it to be 1-3 days per page, with multiple approvals happening daily. I just don't get it...

Coupled with NVC coming to a grinding halt over the past weeks and my embassy changing from an 18 day interview leadtime to 36 today, I couldn't be happier...So much for the idea she might be here during the summer. I love our country, but as a citizen I find this process unreasonably lengthy and inefficient. I couldn't be more dissapointed that my government is keeping me apart from my love for an undetermined and lengthy period of time, when clearly an entire petition could be adjudicated in one day if done efficiently.

Ok, I'm done ranting, but clearly this process is wearing on me.

I agree with you. The process is unnecessarily long and very inefficient. They seem to not see that VSC is processing at lighting speed while CSC seems to be sitting in cement.

Why they don't ease the load and transfer some petitions to VSC or NSC I'll never know.

But one thing I do know is that on the other end of this whole bureaucratic nightmare is a beautiful princess waiting to join me over here, and that my friend keeps my head up and a smile on my face. Soon you will be united with your loved one and things will be great for years and years and years and when you look at it that way its just a short time to wait for a lifetime of happiness. smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Thanks for the reassuring words Wioombeen, I've been pretty steady so far but today for some reason it's all starting to get to me. I hope when I get the NOA2 it will be easier to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Quinn, the Visa Wait Time site is not on VJ, it's on the state dept website and is updated usually weekly. For J'burg your link is: http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/wait/tem...p;x=88&y=22

Good luck to all, maybe this is OUR week?
