Hello,
Two weeks ago I filed a I-130 form my mother. I am 22 and a naturalized US citizen. Upon mailing the forms with required copies of documentation, I looked at the copies of the application and realized that i made a few mistakes. 1) I forgot to put the last number in my social security 2) I forgot to add my Birthday 3)The date of one of her divorces is wrong.
These mistakes were mostly due to my inexperience filling out pdf files. I have not received my receipt number yet. I was wondering what I can do to fix these mistakes so that they do not result in the form being denied. Please help. and Thank you.
Also will I face any legal matters if she is indeed denied, that might affect my citizenship.

Most likely they will issue an RFE. Don't worry, mistakes happens and can be corrected.

yeah I have definitely been worried after my mother woke me up crying becuase she found mistakes. My other question is, how far into the process do they send this RFE?

If you received your NOA, on it is a telephone number for you to call if there's any corrections you need to make. It shouldn't take that long for you to receive it.

I received my NOA (I-797C)today which was relatively fast. and called their offices to request the mistakes made. The guy said he would file a Typographical Error Report to the Vermont office for me documenting the corrections that should be made. And said that I would receive a letter in the mail confirming the changes within 60 days. Does this pose a delay in the process? ANd also on the NOA, the part where it says "priority date" is left blank. Thanks in advance for the advice.

The priority date does not apply to you. They quote you 60 days as standard procedure. However, it's usually sooner than that. I may delay your application probably maybe less than 24 hours I would say. The 60 days quoted is for extreme circumstances.

Oh. Let me give you some more details on the Priority Date.
If you are using the form for your spouse, you will need not worry about the priority date. However, if you are applying for a relative such as your mother, brother, sister, etc...then you need to look closely at it. When you have an approved petition for that relative, another Notice of Action Approval will be sent with a priority date. If you have any other questions, post them. I'll find out more.
