I have come to the conclusion that we will need to file a waiver when my husband has his interview on 2nd May. I have been able to find loads of denied and approved harship letters on immigrate2us.net, but I must admit, the site is not user-friendly and I can not search for things or send messages to anyone even though I am registered. I can't even reply to a topic.

So I am here, in the user-friendly world of visa journey.

We will need two letters from people who have known my husband during and after the crimes of theft, one from a person who has known him since, and one from his employer, that knows of his offences and trusts him to handle large amounts of cash on a daily basis.

Does anyone have any samples of these types of letters?

Thank you!!

The format for these letters are not really set. Write them up detailing the information that you want conveyed, i.e.

Detail who the person siging the statement is and his relationship to your spouse. Give dates as too how long he has known him, how long employed etc. Ensure there are sentences detailing that this person is aware of his past crimes and is opinion of him now and then. Keep them to a page or two at the most. Dont over do it, just state the facts pertinant to the case and then sum it up with his or her personal opinion of his character and why they feel that way.

Have all statements notarized.

Dont just include two. get as many as you can from family, friends, employers, past employers anyone that you can the more the better!!!!! Make sure that none of them contradict each other in statement of fact.
