i got conditional green card(still with my US citizen wife) on December 25, 2005 when can i apply for citizenship?

Lona.C.
Congratulations on your conditional green card
to my understanding you have to be married almost 2 years ,
at exactly 90 days before your second anniversary you can aply for condition to be removed and become permanent resident , if you fail to apply they can deport you,
then i belive there is a waiting period of aprox 3 years to be able to apply for US citizenship ,
but you can always look up the information at www.uscis.gov
good luck to you

If still maried to your US Citizen petitioner then 3 years from issuance of your green-card, if not married then it is 5 years.

You cannot have any periods out of country more than 6 months during that time.

USCIS has a very good guide:

A Guide to Naturalization

The 90 days before is for lifting conditions on your conditional card, not naturalization, you need to first meet the 3 year conditions required of naturalization before filing, that is you need to file after the 3 or 5 year requirement has been met, not 90 days before.

Dan, that is not true.
Naturalization applicants can submit their application in the 90 days before they are eligible. IE: 90 days before their 3rd anniversary as a PR.

AND they have met ALL the other eligibility requirements (there are a lot more than just time in the US).
