It is not common for filipinas to date filipino men twice her age.

It is common for filipinas to date USCs, or men from other 1st world countries, twice her age.

You'd probably get similar results from other poor countries like say Thailand, Brazil, or Slovakia?

That's an interesting question. I think it's true for Thailand, don't know about the others.

Most of my wive's Filipina friends are married to guys much older. The only one that is married to a guy her age is talking about divorce already because the guy can't keep a job.

If we are not going to work as married couple, which is too far from our imagination, he's going to marry again at his 50's...why worry when many filipinas care much about loving someone of his personality and good attitude not thinking about so much about the age gap?
